Official Washington considers the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan as the key principle of regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Daqliq Qarabaq, the Co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza told BBC’s Russian service. To him, Armenia should agree that according to the international law Daqliq Qarabaq is a part of Azerbaijan Republic. “We know that Armenia has a different stance to the problem. That is why we should use creative and constructive approaches for Azerbaijan and Armenia come to common sense,” Bryza stressed. M. Bryza agreed with Russian Foireign minister Sergey Lavrov’s opinion that few problems remain for regulation of the conflict: “Few problems are left to be settled concerning Daqliq Qarabaq conflict. They are difficult problems and are usually.discussed in the end of the talks. Settlement of these problems can be easy if the sides demonstrate good will. But I’d not like to publicize them in detail. Because we should establish a place the presidents and foreign ministers of the countres hold talks”. M.Bryza considers OSCE MG should continue its activity. He also stated that he does not consider Russia as rival in South Caucasus. On the contrary the official of the White House regards the US and Russia have common interests in the region. M.Bryza considers Turkey plays leading role in South Caucasus as well. “We consider Turkey can play positive role in Caucasus as official Ankara has also supported construction of oil pipeline in Caucasus”. © 2008 Bütün hüquqlar qorunur.
