Turkish President Abdullah Gul met with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan. Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan also attended the meeting, Anatolia news agency reports. No information is available about the meeting yet. Gul told journalists that he's pleased with Yerevan visit: "We are using the opportunity of match in a right way."

Turkish media says Abdullah Gul has invited Sargsyan to return macth in Turkey.

Turkey is due to play Armenia in a World Cup qualifier in Turkey on October 14, 2009.
