Officers of State Border Service have detained a group of 3 smugglers attempting to transfer 10 kg drugs illegally in Yardimli region frontier post. Besides 5 mobile telephones and USD 4 100 were confiscated from them. Criminal case has been launched on the fact. Investigations are being ongoing. The group is suspected to have other members as well.

  State Border Service investigation and examination department chief Azer Ibrahimov told ANS TV that the citizen Iran Islam Republic Mansur Izzatoghlu Farrukhi and residents of Yardimli region Goshgar Aghayev and Rahib Garayev were detained. They were confiscated 4kg heroin, 4kg marijuana and 2 kg opium.
