Azerbaijan boxing team captain Shahin Imranov (57 kg weight class) will next meet Khedafi Djelkhir (FRA). The fight will be held on August 22. Shahin Imranov of Azerbaijan has reached semifinal in the Beijing 2008 Olympics next after he beat Cuba's Idel Torriente 16-14. The captain also beat Galib Jafarov, (Kazakhistan), sportsman of Azerbaijani origin, in 1/16 final (9-5) and Nocolos Izorian (Georgia) in 8/1 final (18-9).
