6 judoists will represent Azerbaijan in 29th Olympic Games to be held in Beijing. They are Elnur Mammadli (73 kg), Ramil Gasimov (66 kg), Mehman Azizov (81 kg), Elkan Mammadov (90 kg), Movlud Miraliyev (100 kg) and Kifayat Gasimova (57 kg). Head coach of the national team is Aghayar Akhundzade, trainers – Haji Hajiahmadov and Ibadulla Shabanov. The sportsmen will leave for Kurgan (Kazakhstan) and continue trainings till August 5 and then they will go to Beijing.
