A conference of the Ministers of Culture of the Council of Europe will take place in Baku on December 2-3, 2008. The two-day conference will be held under title "Cross-cuture dialogue is the basis of peace and its development in Europe and neighbor regions". The conference will bring together Ministers of Culture of the countries neighbor to the Council of Europe and ISESCO and ALESCO member countries as well as international intergovernmental and NGOs. The aim of the Azerbaijani side to hold the conference is to play the role of the bridge of culture between European and Islam world as being the memberof both ISESCO and CoEurope and to strengthen international authority of Azerbaijan through laying foundation "Baku process" envisaging the development of cross-culture dialogue. Organizational Committee headed by Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism, Abulfaz Garayev held a meeting today. The meeting discussed the agenda of the conference, cultural programs for the participants within the conference and other organizational issues.
