Defense Minister Safar Abiyev met with Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg.

Safar Abiyev spoke in the meeting about prospects of Azerbaijan's integration to Europe's structures, gave information about military-political situation in the region. the Minister said 20 percent of Azerbaijan's territories have been occupied by Armenian Armed Forces, over 1 million innocent people were displaced from their native lands. The efforts of international organizations for peaceful settlement of conflict have not yielded any result and Azerbaijan sometimes faces double standards. The Minister stated that use of force is not ruled out for liberation of our lands in case peace negotiations give no result./ANS PRESS/.
