PACE President Luis Maria de Puig was in synagogue in Jewish Krasnaya Sloboda settlement of Guba region within his visit to northern regions of Azerbaijan. ANS PRESS informed the guest was informed about the synagogue and the way of life of the Jews residing in the area. Luis Maria de Puig expressed his satisfaction with the conditions created in the region. He underlined there is no religious discrimination in the region. PACE President also was in the carpet-weaving shop in Guba. The guest was presented a Guba carpet.

PACE President Luis Maria de Puig is visiting the mass grave of Azerbaijanis killed during the Genocide committed by Armenians in 1918 which was discovered in Guba region.
