The Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan will implement the two years master’s program from 2009. “Initially, from 25 to 50 students are expected to be trained,” Hafiz Pashayev, Rector of the Academy, stated to journalists on 15 May.

Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan was established by the order of President Ilham Aliyev on 6 March 2006.

According to Pashayev, the number of students will be increased after construction of the new building for the Academy. Presently, the magister program is being developed. “We have been implementing the study programs since 2006. Special trainings on foreign policy and international relations are being held for state officials and diplomats,” Pashayev said.


Before, Pashayev was the Azerbaijani Ambassador in the United States.
