The next guest of ANS Press’s Forum is Hidayat Orujov, chairman of State Committe on Work with Religious Institutions. The key direction of activities of the Committee is to create convenient condition for implementing the freedom of religion in accordance with Article 48 of Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The questions on implementation of state policy in the religious activities, observing the regulations of legislative related to religious prganizations, the struggle against the sects originating from non-traditional religious groups threatening national security and creating suitable condition for implementing the freedom of religion, the state registration procedures of religious communities in accordance with the legislative of Azerbaijan Republic, strengthening mutual understanding, tolerance and respect among different religious communities  are most encouraged.
