Two women were stabbed last night at their apartment in 9, Mardanov Borthers Street in Nasimi District, Baku. Amalya Babirova and her 15-year-old daughter were taken to hospital and were immediately operated.

A doctor at the hospital told ANS TV that the stabbed women were in the state of traumatic shock upon entering the hospital. Their lives were saved after operation. More than ten knife wounds were found on 15-year-old Nilufar.

Police inspector Zamir Kazimov told ANS that the relatives of the stabbed women believed that the criminals who afflicted the women with knife were their acquaintances, as there was no noise heard at the time of the crime.

The stabbed women were alone at their apartment when the criminals made their way into house. /ANS TV/
