President Ilham Aliyev has inaugurated a park for recreation and leisure, Heydar Aliyev school-museum in the Yasamal district of Baku and a new building of the district`s authority today.
Head of the Yasamal authority Ibrahim Mehdiyev informed the President that the park newly reconstructed at the district`s sole expense, covers an area of 1.7 hectares.
Park improvements include fountains, waterfalls, lighting system, large monitor, benches, and marbled walkways.
President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated the Heydar Aliyev school-museum by cutting the red ribbon symbolizing its official opening.
The school-museum features items and collection of photographs reflecting lifetime and activity of the national leader of Azerbaijan popularizing the legacy of the national leader.
A library and computer rooms in the school-museum will help young people benefit from national leader`s legacy.
After familiarizing himself with the school-museum, the Head of State signed a guest book.
President Ilham Aliyev also inaugurated a building of Yasamal district authority. The President saw a bust to national leader at the entrance of the building and a photo-stand reflecting Heydar Aliyev`s efforts towards developing of the country.
Good conditions for employees created in the five-storey building will help improve the work of the local authority. The building has a 300-seat meeting room, waiting room and offices.
President Ilham Aliyev got familiar with the offices.
The Azerbaijani leader expressed satisfaction with the work done.
