President Ilham Aliyev has today signed an executive order on conferring Honorary Diploma of the Azerbaijani President upon Said Gurbanov for his contribution to development of relations between Azerbaijan and Daghestan Republic of the Russian Federation.

President Ilham Aliyev also congratulated Said Gurbanov, the advisor of President of Dagestan on his 80th   anniversary. The congratulation says:

 “Your organizational ability was seen especially during the term you headed Darband. Your wisdom and deep experience of life have ever respected by generations of different periods. Your activity in the development of mutual relations between Azerbaijan Republic and Dagestan Republic of Russian Federation is worth of esteem. You have displayed persistence and spirit of patriotism when you headed respectable organizations in different years. Heydar Aliyev, the great Azerbaijani leader whose merits are unparalleled in organization of Azerbaijani Diaspora also highly praised you activity and personality. Your productive work was praised properly and you were awarded a number of prizes including “Shohrat” (Glory) order, the highest award of Azerbaijan Republic. I hope you will make worthy contributions to the work of world Azerbaijanis solidarity owing to your perspicacity in future”.
