As a result of a blast caused by an unknown explosive device nine people, including a child, were injured.
At least nine people were injured after an unknown explosive device went off at a market in the south of Moscow near the Prazhskaya metro station, a police source said on Saturday, Ria Novosti informs. "As a result of a blast caused by an unknown explosive device nine people, including a child, were injured," the source said. Viktor Biryukov, a spokesman for the Moscow police, said that people have been evacuated from the market, which is cordoned off by police. He said that, according to preliminary information, people received light injuries and are treated by medics, adding that police inspects the market for other possible explosive devices. Congress of Russian Azerbaijanis is trying to find out if there are any Azerbaijanis among the wounded, Eldar Guliyev, Executive Director of the Congress, told ANS PRESS.
