“It is not about to use high speed trains, but rather about the reconstruction works to upgrade the speed on the existing railroads”, says senior engineer of the State Railways.
Korean Railway Network is ready to allocate USD 300 million on project which involves the upgrading the speed on the existing railroads, informed Gurban Nazirov, the senior engineer of State Railway. According to him, the project is being discussed with Korean experts.
“They are ready to allocate the funds on the project which intends to upgrade the speed on Baku-Great Kesmik railroad. It is not about the use of high speed trains, but simply about the reconstruction works on the existing railroads to upgrade the speed”. Nazirov further added that the total cost of the project is estimated to be around AZN 2 billion. /ANS TV/
