A local resident complains of the Veterinary Office of the region. The Office, however, assures that the situation in the village is stable.
Kurdamir residents` livestock is reported to die from unknown disease. A local resident Jalal Nuriyev said that the livestock have been caught by some kind of disease: "We have lost nine cattle in the last week”. Nuriyev noted that they had already informed the local authorities, veterinary station as well as Kurdamir Region Veterinary Office: “But there is no respond from them. We don’t know what kind of disease the livestock have caught. We even bought the medicine by ourselves, but they don’t want to treat them. They say there is nothing to worry, but it is not true” The chairman of region’s Veterinary Office Babakhan Isayev told ANSPRESS that only one resident’s stock was ill. The doctor who was called in did not arrive; therefore they had to search for another doctor. “That’s why the resident got angry. In general, the situation in the village is stable and under control” The State Veterinary Service said they were informed of the incident. The head of press service of the organization Yolchu Khanvali said that they had already made inquires into the region’s Veterinary Office: "They will officially inform us what exactly happened in the village”. He further informed ANSPRESS referring to regions veterinary office that only one animal had caught a fever and the all required measures had been taken in order to treat him./ANS PRESS/
