Independent press-center opened at Azerbaijan’s CEC
The center will function 24 hours for media and political party representatives.

Central Election Commission has opened an Independent Press Center today. The center will function 24 hours for media and political party representatives. The center is equipped with all the necessary techniques. Similar centers have been opened at CEC since 2007, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of CEC, said at the opening ceremony of the centre.

The presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be held on October 15. Seven candidates will take part in the elections, including Ilham Aliyev, chairman of ruling New Azerbaijan Party; Igbal Agazade, chairman of opposition Umid (Hope) Party; Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Great Establishment Party; Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of Unified Popular Front Party; Hafiz Hajiyev, chairman of Muasir Musavat Party; Fuad Aliyev, chairman of Liberal Democrat Party and independent candidate Gulamhuseyn Alibayli. /TrendNews/
