Azerbaijani National Independence Party (ANIP) released a statement on recent developments in South Caucasus. The statement says the processes taking place in South Caucasus recently and inrease of warlike spirit, endangers the whole civilization, as welll as Azerbaijan: "The opposing parties' choice of force and arm, as well as demonstration of power endangers our planet. Russia's will to pursue its empire policy ignoring world community threatens our independent state as well."

The statement goes on to say that Russia's decisions contradicting principles and legal norms could spark new problems.

The party's statement condemns Russia's recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia's independence and expresses concern over processes occuring in the region. "ANIP considers that Russia's cannot remain in OSCE Minsk Group after this step. This once more proved that Russia is not interested in protection of peace and stability, even it takes a side." /ANS PRESS/
