Russia, who has violated principles of OSCE, cannot continue its activity as OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing country. MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev, head of United Azerbaijani Popular Front Party (UAPFP) told ANS PRESS. Azerbaijan should try for summoning CIS summit and intervene in the processes as a leader country in South Caucasus. "War between two CIS members should not happen. Such a precedent existed till today as well, with Armenia invading Azerbaijani territories. And now Russia takes the same step against georgia. That's why this issue must be discussed in CIS summit. Azerbaijan should determinedly require Russia to press Armenia for restoration of sovereign rights of Azerbaijan on Daqliq Qarabaq. If CIS plays no role in settlement of any problem, why did we enter this body?" Hasanguliyev says unless a satisfactory answer comes from Russia, Azerbaijan also should quit CIS followin Georgia and Ukraine, as well as reject Russia's participation in OSCE Minsk Group.

"The recent steps of Russia should spark doubts in official Baku regarding the efficiency of Russia's activity in OSCE Minsk Group. After recognition of separatist segimes by Russia, the continuation of talks with other co-chairmen and their efforts towards achievement of peace in the refion comes under question,"  says political scientist Rasim Musabeyov. He claims continuation of talks within the framework of OSCE Minsk Group is not expedient as well./ANS PRESS/
