Road accident in Azerbaijan’s Kurdemir region kills five
Criminal case has been launched on the fact on Article 263 of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway.

Fatal road accident occurred in the territory of Kurdemir region of Baku-Gazakh highway at 04.00 tonight.

Kurdemir Region Police Office informed Shirvan bureau that KamAZ driven by resident of Atbulag village of Hajigabul region, Abusalamov Elkhan Shirin, 55, collided with VAZ 2106 driven by Govlar village of Tovuz region Sadigov Merdan Medet, 44. In the aftermath of the accident, driver of VAZ 2106 Sadigov, his passengers – residents of Kiren village of Tovuz region Yunanov Rafig Mehrali, 42, his brother Yunanov Vidadi Mehrali, 39, their relative, resident of Boyuk Gishlag village Yunanova Pakize Mahammadali, 44, resident of Govlar Elnur Hajiyev, 31, died on the spot. Criminal case has been launched on the fact on Article 263 of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway. /APA/
