Politic / 25.08.2008 18:22 Baku sees no perspective of recognition of so-called Daqliq Qarabaq's independence
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Khazar Ibrahim told a press conference today.
"Baku sees no perspective of recognition of so-called Daqliq Qarabaq's independence and Daqliq Qarabaq conflict must be settled within the framework of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity," Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Khazar Ibrahim told a press conference today. He also stressed that all the conflicts must be settled not in frame of geopolitical interests of states, but territorial integrity of countries. Commenting on opinions of Nikolai Bordyuzha, Secretary General of Collective Security Treaty Organization, who said CSTO will support its members in case of any agression, Khazar Ibrahim says Baku sees no danger for itself from that organization. "It's not a new opinion voiced by CSTO representatives. These issues have been mentioned in the charter of the body. Azerbaijan has not invaded any country and will not do. Azerbaijan just wants to restore its territorial integrity and will do it." /ANS TV/
