General Director of SOCAR Georgian Company Mahir Mammadov informed ANS TV Kulevi terminal last shipped a tanker with 35 000 tons deadweight which then headed course for European direction on August 20. “I’d like to underline that all Georgian structures of SOCAR fully continued their activity since the very beginning of the war. Alongside with this Kulevi terminal functioned in ordinary operating regime before the last events as well. The terminal received cargo and shipped the tankers. 1 tanker with 6 000 tons deadweight was shipped on August 11 and a tanker with 35 000 tons deadweight is mooring to be filled presently. We have got over 100 000 tons oil in reservoirs now. The team of SOCAR works in the terminal. ”However cargo transportation from Azerbaijan is being suspended for the present and we hope the deliveries will be resumed. Our refuelling stations in the territory of Georgia work in ordinary and even, I’d say, intensified operating regime”, added M.Mammadov.
