23 277 students applied for 9452 places on 89 vocations in 47 elementary vocational training schools from 9-year educational basis this year.
State Commission on Student Admission holds acceptance test for elementary vocational training schools from 9-year educational basis (main) on August 21 for 2008-2009 educational year. Sources at the State Commission informed the examination is held in 41 buildings in Baku, Sumgayit, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Lankaran, Mingachevir, Shaki, Shirvan, Guba and Goychay.
23 277 students applied for 9452 places on 89 vocations in 47 elementary vocational training schools from 9-year educational basis this year. 5831 places are free and 3621 are fee-paying. 8566 places are allocated in Azerbaijani and 256 in Russian sectors. The applicants take examination on the native language, Azerbaijani history and mathematic during one hour and 30 minutes and respond 15 questions for each subject. Russian-speaking applicants take examination on Azerbaijani language too. Examination results will be published on the State Commission’s web-site and in the special edition of “Abituriyent” journal on August 25. /APA/
