More than 40 thousand farmers are expected to receive AZN 40 per hectare till the end of the year.
Azerbaijan government has started to grant subsidies to farmers. More than 40 thousand farmers dealing with tillage are expected to receive AZN 40 per hectare till the end of the year. Besides, farmers growing grain will get additional AZN 40 per ha. Islam Ibrahimov, department chief of the Ministry of Agriculture, said the subsidies would lead to increase of production of agricultural goods.
