Kidney transplantation operation performed in Azerbaijan’s Lankaran Region
Iranian specialists and local doctors transplanted kidney to Anar Azimov,22.

Lankaran Treatment –Diagnostic Center has performed the first kidney transplantation operation among Azerbaijani regions. Three-hour operation has been conducted successfully. Head Doctor of Center Malik Mammadov said that operation has been performed on Masalli resident, Anar Azizov, 22. Azizov had health problem three months ago and he was taken to Russia, Pakistan and Iran for treatment. He was taken to Lankaran Treatment–Diagnostic Center. Iranian specialists and local doctors transplanted kidney of his friend to him during operation. Condition of patient is satisfactory. /APA/
