Metro fares proposed 50 kopecks
T.Ahmadov underlined metro fares may rise in 2009 despite it is 5 kopecks presently.“

Metro fares are not expected to increase in 2008, Baku Metro Chief Tagi Ahmadov informed. However proposals have been submitted to Tariff Council this year as usual. T.Ahmadov underlined metro fares may rise in 2009 despite it is 5 kopecks presently.

“Two metro fares are proposed: they are 32 kopecks and 50 kopecks. The choice will be based on decision of Tariff Council”, he added.
