Azerbaian National Volleyball team qualifies for European Championship
It comes after the victory over Albanian National Volleyball Team.

The visctory over Albanian National Volleyball Team enabled Azerbaijani male volleyballers to go to European Championship. But the victory didn’t come so easy. One of the leading members of Azerbaijani Team, Farid Jalilov, was injured in the first set, thus putting the team in desperate situation. Azerbaijani volleyallers, however, could pull themselves together soon and revenged upon Albanians. Azerbaijan volleyballers, who had lost the first game with Albanians made a huge effort to win the overall game.  Azerbaijan volleyballers will play against Netherlands, Slovenia and Latvia in the play-off matches. The matches will be held in Netherlands on 16-18 May. /ANS TV/
